This blog consists mainly of weather related posts and recent events in my life. I am a storm chaser for KTUL Channel 8 in Tulsa, OK. I will regularly recap my chase experiences as well as post forecasts from time-to-time.

January 2010 Tulsa Winter Storm Recap
Over the course of two days, Tulsa ended up with .6" of ice followed by 6-7 inches of snow. Overall, the damage caused by the storm was much less than expected. Tulsa did not experience any widespread power outages due to the ice. I could be wrong but I think the ice storm of 2007 took care of many of the trees that would likely cause power problems.
