Day Two

Today looks to be the second day in a row we get a big cluster of heavy rain. It amazes me how these storms produce tornados in Texas and as soon as they cross the OK border, they just crap out. Maybe they will intensify some over the next couple of hours. Seeing how we haven't had any sun here today, I kind of doubt they will be anything more than a repeat of last night. No plans to chase if that's the case.

What The Hell?

I didn't think much of the first radar scan but I've never seen such a strong radar glitch as the second scan. It was gone by the third scan. Anyone have any explanation of what would cause this?

Where to begin... Steve, Bob, Hans, and I all took off around noon today and headed to Dallas for the TESSA Chaser Conference. On the way we saw a thunderstorm blow up around the Gore, OK area. It looked pretty nice from about 150+ miles away. While driving down I saw my life flash before my eyes at least 4 times. Two of which I was not seatbelted in and was nearly transformed into a human torpedo.

As we got closer to our destination in Bedford, TX I sat in the backseat and witnessed information overload as Bob and Hans argued over their interpretations of their gps's. It was quite entertaining and I may have to post a video of it at a later date.

After a few hours of drinking Steve, Hans, Bob and I are setting around the hotel suite playing on the laptops. I'm currently setting at a table with Steve and Hans and there are 5 laptops on it. I think we may be on track to dork out tonight.

Right now there are a few videos from the snow and ice storms we had this winter. Hopefully the video will get a little more exciting as we get into more of a spring weather pattern.
